It should not cause interference. If you are seeing interference or a weak signal, you may need to change the channel of the 2.4G and 5G channels. The one you are on may be crowded. (This can often happen in high-density areas, lots of neighbors' routers putting out the same frequency.) To do this, open the app and click on the gear icon in the top left corner. Then click "Advanced". At the bottom of the list, click "Wireless Settings". Change the 2.4GHz WiFi channel to 1 or 11. Change the 5GHz WiFi channel to any channel above 100.
