πŸ›  TROUBLESHOOTING:

If none of the LEDs turn on:

  1. Ensure the router is plugged in.
  2. On the back of the router, ensure the router's POWER and LED ON/OFF buttons are in the On position.
  3. Try connecting to a different power source. If that does not work, please reach out to Starry Support.

If the Power LED does not stop blinking:

The unit takes approximately 2 or 3 minutes to boot up, during which the power light will blink. After boot up, the power light should turn solid. If this does not occur:

  1. Reboot the router by unplugging it from its power source for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in.
  2. If it is still not working, factory reset the router by pushing a paper clip or pen into the Reset hole on the back of the router. Please note, this will change the WiFi name and password back to the default. You will need to connect to the default WiFi name and log in via IP address to change the WiFi name back to the one you set up, if applicable. If that does not solve the issue, please reach out to Starry Support.

If the 2.4G and/or 5G LED are off:

This is also helpful if the LEDs are on, but your devices cannot connect to one or both networks.

  1. Ensure the Wi-Fi ON/OFF button is set to the ON position.
  2. Turn the Wi-Fi ON/OFF button to the OFF position, wait 10 seconds, then turn back ON.
  3. If that doesn’t work, reboot the Zyxel router by removing the power plug from it for 10-15 seconds and then plugging it back in. Wait ~3 minutes for the router to finish turning back on. This resolves the majority of connectivity issues.
  4. If the reboot doesn't solve the issue, log in via IP Address. (Open any browser and navigate to 192.168.1.1. The default username is admin and the default password is 1234.)
  5. Select the Settings/Configuration icon (two gears) on the left side of the screen.
  6. Select Wireless Settings LAN 2.4G.
  7. In Wireless LAN 2.4G and/or 5G, ensure Wi-Fi is turned on (Wireless is set to Enable). Repeat for the 5G channel.
  8. If none of the above fixes things, please reach out to Starry Support.

If the WAN LED does not blink, flicker, or turn on at all:

  1. Ensure that the cabling between the router and the source is secure.
  2. If you have a Starry Link, reboot the Link and the Zxyel router.
  3. If that does not resolve the issue, please reach out to Starry Support.

If the INTERNET light does not turn on:

This light should blink when sending and receiving data.

  1. If this light does not blink or flicker, reboot the router.
  2. If that is unsuccessful, please reach out to Starry Support.

If ALL of the LEDs are solid:

The router may not be connected to the correct power supply.

  1. Ensure the router is connected to the 12 VDC/4 Amp power supply included. If you have confirmed that the router is using the correct power supply, reboot the router.
  2. If that is unsuccessful, please reach out to Starry Support.
